About Lifeline Chiropractic

About Lifeline Chiropractic

Lifeline’s mission is simple- to provide quality affordable chiropractic care for the entire family. It’s no secret that everyone can benefit from chiropractic care so Lifeline strives to support the trend of preventive wellness care versus acute disease care.

Dr. Lisa develops a true relationship with everyone she cares for and delivers adjustments based on the individual.
The office is nestled in a cozy old home in a warm neighborhood that was chosen because she strives to be your family’s chiropractic “home” and everything is done to create lifelong relationships while providing the best care she can. While Dr. Lisa strongly recommends exercise, massage, acupuncture and a good diet/ supplement program in order to support your care, you won’t find these in her office. Why? Because she chooses to remain single in focus and mission – to give you an unadulterated chiropractic experience that is affordable and designed just for you.

Meet Dr. Lisa

Dr. Lisa Schuenemann Brown had a passion for helping people achieve wellness but had no idea what chiropractic was all about when she applied for a chiropractic assistant’s position back in 1987. Intrigued with the profession’s philosophy of health coming from within, she decided to find out how the chiropractic profession rose to be the top alternative health choice and a bird’s eye view in a bustling chiropractic office near Langhorne, Pennsylvania (her hometown) was the perfect place to observe!

As a chiropractic assistant “Dr. Lisa” discovered more that amazed her and defied her initial skepticism- Chiropractic helped the body self-heal and the results were incredible. On fire for what she says is a calling from God, Dr. Lisa applied to the doctorate program in Chiropractic after achieving the required undergraduate goals. Dr. Lisa placed her trust in God that if it were His plan for her, He would provide a way – and He did.

In 1993, Dr. Lisa graduated magna cum laude (ranked second in her class) and received her doctorate degree in Chiropractic from Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, S.C. She was also the recipient of the two coveted awards (the Palmer Philosophical Distinction Award and the Clinical Excellence Distinction Award). Dr. Lisa achieved licensure in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, South Carolina and Florida and gained extensive experience practicing chiropractic as she prepared to open her own practice. She opened Lifeline Chiropractic in 1997 and is thrilled to serve you and your families there!

A Little Bit About Sherman College

Sherman College of Chiropractic

Sherman College of Chiropractic

Sherman College of Chiropractic is a private college founded in 1973, offering the doctor of chiropractic degree, that was named after Lyle Sherman. The college is home to approximately 200 students representing 26 states and 15 countries and has more than 3,000 alumni around the world. Sherman college supports the “straight” vertebral subluxation-based focus as different from diagnosis and symptomatic treatment focus of “mixed” U.S. chiropractic schools.

The name of the college was changed to Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic the late 1970s, but changed back to the original name in 2009. Sherman College also has digital x-ray services in the Health Center for use of interns and local chiropractors.

Established in 1973 by Dr. Thom Gelardi, the college is named for Dr. Lyle Sherman, an assistant director of the B. J. Palmer Chiropractic Research Clinic. The first class graduated on September 18, 1976, the anniversary of Palmer’s discovery of the vertebral subluxation. After several years in alternate locations in Spartanburg, the college opened the present campus, which now includes a teaching facility, a health center open to the public, and a fitness center for faculty and students. Sherman focuses on the correction of vertebral subluxations of the spine rather than diagnosis and treatment of symptoms in the modern medicine model; a philosophy it defended in an accreditation lawsuit with the American Chiropractic Association in 1986.
